Difference between Azure Workbench and Azure Blockchain as Service

Azure WorkbenchAzure Blockchain as Service
Collection of Azure services and capabilities designed to help you create and deploy blockchain applications to share business processes and data with other organisations.Azure Blockchain Service is a fully managed ledger service that enables users the ability to grow and operate blockchain networks at scale in Azure.
Blockchain Workbench provides access to client apps to create and manage users and blockchain applications. It Simple network deployment and operations.
Azure Blockchain Workbench simplifies consortium blockchain network setup as a preconfigured solution with an Azure Resource Manager solution template. The template provides simplified deployment that deploys all components needed to run a consortium. With template there are some limitations.Built-in consortium management we can add admin and members without any limitations.
Previously if you are using Azure workbench for long time POA run out of disk and lot of issues happen. But ABS take care of scaling your nodes and make sure you have storage available and keeping your nodes upto date and healthy.
Azure Workbench built on predefined template on Ethereum Protocol. It’s designed to support multiple protocols .

In my opinion , Azure Workbench is good for creating prototype and Connect to common business tools but when it comes from scaling point of view and managing consortium . We need to consider Azure Blockchain as Service.

With Azure Blockchain Workbench 1.7.0 release integration with Azure Blockchain Service. This could be good solution in terms integration with existing apps, scalability and consortium management point of view.
